The PFA is the world's longest-standing professional sportsperson's trade union. We were founded back in 1907, and have been part of the fabric of English football since.
We've been central to protecting and growing the rights and conditions of those who are most important to the game - the players.
We're proud of our long history in the game, but we're an organisation firmly looking towards the future. As the game continues to change, and player power grows, the PFA's role has never been more vital nor extensive.

Having played the game myself, I feel really honoured to now get the chance to give back to players. I'm in a role where I can apply my 20-or-so years' experience to supporting the union's community work and helping members find purpose off the pitch.
